As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on facility equipment, manufacturing machinery, material handling equipment, and building systems to support safe and efficient operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Experience or demonstrated knowledge in building maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, material handling equipment, or refrigeration maintenance
  • Understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform repairs in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to read blueprints, manuals, parts lists, and technical documentation
  • Skilled in safely operating hand and power tools
  • Basic computer skills and experience using CMMS systems
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and follow direction when needed
  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and varying shifts as business needs require

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment, manufacturing machinery, conveyor systems, packaging equipment, and facility assets
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems to minimize downtime and restore equipment to service quickly
  • Complete preventative maintenance tasks according to established PM schedules
  • Perform basic inspections and maintenance on refrigeration systems under leadership guidance
  • Maintain and repair material handling equipment following company and manufacturer guidelines
  • Utilize CMMS to input and update work orders and preventative maintenance records
  • Operate power tools, welding equipment, cutting torches, forklifts, aerial lifts, and other maintenance equipment safely
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures and reporting hazards
  • Communicate effectively with operations, leadership, and team members
  • Prioritize multiple assignments and complete tasks with limited supervision
  • Support facility and exterior grounds maintenance as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
