General Maintenance Tech JOB SUMMARY : Performs repair and construction projects SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Repairs and maintains buildings and other structures throughout the property Planning and building new projects as requested Ensures all buildings and facilities are maintained in a proper manner Other duties as assigned PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Requires manual and bi-manual dexterity, fine and gross motor skills, eye/hand coordination, near vision, hearing and speech Requires standing, kneeling and bending Requires walking, reaching above shoulder, pushing and pulling Requires occasional lifts and carries up to 75 pounds Requires occasional carries up to 100 pounds with the assistance of a two-wheel hand truck Requires working at heights on ladders and man-lifts Requires ability to operate vehicle in park Due to dust, dirt, fumes and noise, some work requires respirators and safety clothing Will occasionally work with job-related hazardous chemicals

Requirements

Must possess good oral and written English language and grammar skills
High School diploma or equivalent
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to pass a criminal, drug, alcohol and social security background checks
