About The Position
Borst Landscape & Design is seeking a dynamic Maintenance Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client accounts, developing new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales and account management
- 3+ years of field experience and possess strong horticultural background
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate a team
- Ability to negotiate and understand complex sales processes
- Familiarity with technology sales or technical sales is a plus
- Proficient in warm calling techniques to generate new leads
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and internal teams
- Analytical mindset to assess market trends and customer needs
- Must have a valid NJ driver’s license and be comfortable with local travel

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
- Identify and propose property enhancements
- Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client's business needs
- Collaborate with sales team to reach prospective clients
- Utilize Pipedrive to track customer interactions, sales, and account activity
