About The Position

Perform the maintenance functions necessary to maintain machinery, equipment and plant structure in good repair. Work requires the layout and planning of equipment, as well as the repair, installation or rearrangement of equipment.

Proficient with the Internet
Above average verbal and written communication skills
Ability to get along with others
Can effectively function in a matrix and team environment

Must be a "U.S. Person" (U.S. citizen, U.S. national, U.S. permanent resident, individual granted asylum in the U.S., or refugee in the U.S., or otherwise qualify for a license that permits them to hold the position).

Responsibilities

Perform the mechanical repairs or replacement work required on any shop machinery or equipment, including hydraulic systems, bearing replacements, and machine parts replacement.
Analyze and suggest corrective action in cases of mechanical malfunction on any operating equipment or accessories.
Assist the maintenance group in moving, setting and leveling of plant machinery.
May assist with unloading and installing new machinery.
Perform the general department cleanup after project completion.
