About The Position
Suncore Construction & Materials is seeking a skilled Mainline Trackhoe Operator. This role involves operating heavy equipment to dig pipeline ditches and install pipe systems, contributing to essential community infrastructure. Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience operating a trackhoe.
- Ability to bend, sit for long periods, and work in the heat.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs without assistance.
- Ability to safely operate equipment when around team members and utilities, ensuring the safety of all persons, equipment, property, and utilities in the area.
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Skillfully operate a mainline trackhoe to dig pipeline ditches.
- Install sanitary and storm water sewer structures and pipe systems.
- Check slopes for conformance to requirements, using instruments such as lasers, grade rods, or transit levels.
- Layout pipe routes, following blueprints or written instructions and work with supervisors to coordinate layout.
- Align and position pipes to prepare them for sealing.
- Cover pipes with earth or other material.
