About The Position
Best Chevrolet is looking for an experienced Mainline Service Technician to join our growing Service Department. We are seeking a motivated, dependable technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Requirements
- Previous automotive technician experience required
- Chevrolet or GM experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
- Ability to use automotive diagnostic equipment and repair information systems
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- ASE certifications are a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and services on Chevrolet vehicles and other makes/models
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical concerns
- Perform inspections and identify additional maintenance or repair needs
- Complete repairs efficiently and accurately according to manufacturer specifications
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Accurately document all work performed
- Follow dealership and manufacturer safety procedures
- Perform other duties as instructed by management
