About The Position
Our client is seeking an experienced Mainline Excavator Operator to support pipeline and heavy civil construction projects in the Edmonton area. The successful candidate will safely operate excavators for trenching, excavation, backfilling, grading, and utility installation while maintaining productivity and safety standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of excavator operating experience.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Nice To Haves
- Mainline pipeline, utility, or heavy civil construction experience preferred.
- Ground Disturbance Level II, CSTS 2020, and other industry certifications are considered assets.
Responsibilities
- Operate excavators safely and efficiently on construction sites.
- Perform trenching, ditching, backfilling, and grading activities.
- Excavate around existing underground utilities and infrastructure.
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns.
- Follow all company, client, and regulatory safety requirements.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, operators, and ground crews.
