About The Position

We are looking for experienced Software Engineers to participate in an Agile development environment producing functional software solutions for delivery to our customers. In this role, you should be able to work independently with little supervision while also collaborating with team members. You should have excellent organization and problem-solving skills, and experience in Agile development methodologies. The individual and team goal will be to develop high-quality software that is aligned with user needs and business objectives. Preferred work Location for this position is in our Lisle, IL office.

Requirements

Bachelor’s in Engineering and 5+ years of related experience or Master’s degree in Engineering and 3+ years of related experience
This position is concentrated on the mainframe platform, with development in Assembler and Metal C.
At least 5+ years of experience of mainframe development experience
Has mastered the basics of operating as a developer in the IBM mainframe environment
Mainframe Assembler, Metal C, Java and Rest APIs
Mainframe debugging skills using IPCS, VM Trace, XDC, etc.

Nice To Haves

Expertise on Mainframe extensible frameworks such as ZOWE and dealing with pass tickets, certificates, keyrings
Experience in software testing methodologies such as BDD and TDD
Strong understanding of security protocols and Security ESMs
Source control systems experience (Endevor)

Create unit tests and perform functional testing of software to find bugs and confirm that delivered software meets specifications and quality requirements.
Interactions with customers for demos, and feedback sessions.
Drive opportunities to increase efficiency and productivity through best practices.
Define and create pipelines to enable Continuous Testing within Agile teams.
