Requirements

Proven expertise with IBM DB2 for z/OS and replication technologies (Qrep, SQLrep, CDC)
Strong track record in software installation, upgrades, maintenance, and testing
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated analytical and troubleshooting abilities

Nice To Haves

Experience with BMC for DB2 Tools, IBM z/OS Connect, Software AG ADABAS/Natural
Programming proficiency with REXX
Familiarity with SQL, JIRA, SMP/E, RACF, TCP/IP, network certificates, Splunk
Understanding of CICS, IMS, MQ mainframe subsystems

Responsibilities

Install, upgrade, and maintain IBM DB2 for z/OS and replication products (Qrep, SQLrep, CDC)
Conduct certification testing and document operational procedures
Execute disaster recovery testing and ensure systems resilience
Provide 24x7 on-call support as part of a rotation, including off-hours troubleshooting
Collaborate with support teams, vendors, and management to resolve technical issues
Apply advanced analytical and debugging skills to deliver high system availability
