About The Position
Gresham Subaru is seeking a Main Shop Technician to join their rapidly growing team. Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as an automotive technician in a dealership or independent shop setting
- Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail
- Team-oriented and willing to learn and grow
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Have a valid driver's license
- A clean driving record
- Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
Nice To Haves
- ASE certifications or manufacturer certifications preferred
- Subaru certifications a plus
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc
- Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and factory standards
- Conduct multi-point inspections to ensure vehicle safety and reliability
- Communicate with service advisors and fellow technicians regarding status and repairs needed
- Keep up with manufacturer training and certifications
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
