About The Position
The Acura dealership in Fletcher, North Carolina, is seeking an experienced Main Line Technician to perform complex diagnostics and repairs and contribute to the development of the shop. The role offers a steady flow of quality work, factory Acura/Honda training, modern equipment, and opportunities to progress into roles such as Shop Foreman, Team Lead, Diagnostic Specialist, or Service Management. Earning potential is $86,000+ per year.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of dealership or independent automotive repair experience.
- Strong diagnostic skills and comfort working with electrical systems.
- Own professional tools.
- Valid driver's license.
- Pride in work and motivation to continue learning.
Nice To Haves
- Honda or Acura experience strongly preferred; experience with other import brands is considered.
- ASE certifications preferred.
- Acura/Honda factory training is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns on Acura vehicles.
- Perform major engine, transmission, suspension, and HVAC repairs.
- Use factory diagnostic tools and service information to identify problems accurately.
- Document repairs clearly for service advisors and customers.
- Mentor newer technicians and help raise standards across the shop.
