About The Position

The Main Bank Clerk is responsible for recording transactions, maintaining the safekeeping of cash, calculating deposits, and reconciling bank accountability. This role involves preparing daily paperwork, reviewing cashier discrepancies, and managing currency and gaming chip inventory for daily operations and promotional events. The position requires adherence to all regulatory, departmental, and casino policies and procedures, including Tribal Internal Control Standards (TICS) and Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS).

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Customer service experience.
10 key by touch.
Cash handling experience.
Computer skills in Microsoft Excel.
Above average communication skills.
Excellent customer service.
Problem solving capability.
High capacity for learning.
Mathematical and cash counting skills.
Ability to obtain/maintain Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma gaming license.

Responsibilities

Record all transactions distributed for casino and prepare daily paperwork for distribution.
Ensure the safekeeping of all cash in the Main Bank.
Calculate daily bank deposits.
Maintain and reconcile main bank accountability with related documents.
Safeguard gaming chips, numerically controlled documentation, and supply inventory.
Prepare bank deposits.
Review all cage cashier discrepancies and follow up on reports.
Prepare daily cash receipts and disbursements through the main bank.
Verify all cash turned in by operating departments.
Maintain an adequate amount of currency and gaming chips in reserve for daily operation and promotional events.
Schedule, verify, and accept funds from soft count.
Transfer necessary currency to the main bank reserve.
Adhere to all regulatory, departmental, and casino policies and procedures, Tribal Internal Control Standards (TICS) and Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS).
