About The Position

Provides support on the customer site which includes picking up and sorting mail, receiving and delivering packages, answering phones and emails. Also requires the ability to drive a small box truck to perform off-site deliveries 2x per week, as needed. This position rotates through 2 sites located in Farmington and Windsor Locks, CT. This position reports directly to the Senior Site Manager.

Requirements

  • Requires high school diploma or GED and 1-2 years of related work experience.
  • Requires valid driver's license
  • Demonstrate competency in basic computer skills including proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Requires knowledge and understanding of shipping/receiving procedures.
  • Possesses ability to determine correct method and packing material as well as check packing slips for accuracy of incoming materials.
  • Possesses ability to comprehend instructions concerning mail delivery.
  • Possesses troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
  • Possesses excellent customer relations skills and excellent verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Some related copy job experience is preferred.
  • Basic electronics knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Pick up the mail from local USPS location
  • Perform rough and final sort of all collected mail by customer name or location
  • Receive deliveries from Fedex, UPS, Amazon, etc.
  • Scan all packages into the tracking system
  • Deliver all mail and packages as needed and directed
  • Answer all customer calls and emails
  • Process all outgoing mail and Fedex shipments as needed
  • Maintains daily logs
  • May travel between customer's buildings or off-site locations using company vehicle
  • Ensures data for Ricoh MOR, SPG and job logs are captured
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
