Requirements

  • Knowledge of policies and procedures involved in SDU payment processing
  • Knowledge of child support policies related to payment processing
  • Knowledge of SMI systems
  • Knowledge of modern office practices, procedures, and equipment
  • Ability to pay attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with little direction and as a team member
  • Ability to meet stringent schedules and timelines
  • Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work flexible schedules and overtime hours, as necessary
  • High school diploma or equivalent and one-year prior experience in a mail center, document imaging, or other related field or An equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform the work

Responsibilities

  • Opens, sorts, and prepares mail for scanning
  • Scans mail
  • Forwards misdirected mail to the appropriate entity
  • Conducts quality control reviews
  • Prepares and retains daily reports
  • Prepares documents for mailing
  • Participates in special projects
