About The Position
The Mail Operations Pharmacist 2 is responsible for the accurate and timely dispensing of prescribed medication to patients. The Mail Operations Pharmacist 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action. This role is part of CenterWell Pharmacy's growing business, delivering value and quality in a fast-paced environment. The pharmacist will have the opportunity to choose from job assignments in our Front End, Dispensing, or Clinical Services teams. The position requires a California license to serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge for the state of California, working directly with the Pharmacist-In-Charge of the pharmacy and CenterWell Pharmacy’s Professional Practice team to ensure compliance with California laws and regulations and provide oversight for pharmacy services provided to California patients.
Requirements
- Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
- Actively licensed as a Pharmacist in California and Florida without disciplinary action.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Registered Pharmacist in a high-volume retail, community or traditional mail order pharmacy practice environment.
- Ability to participate in Federal prescription programs.
- Proficient with computers such as MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Zoom, SharePoint.
