About The Position

The Mail Opening Lead will lead and oversee efficient data entry, administrative, and cashiering operations within the payment processing system. This role requires strong leadership skills to guide teams, ensure adherence to deadlines, and provide continuous training as the payment processing system evolves. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in data entry, administrative support, or cashiering roles preferred.
  • Experience in leading teams and providing training.
  • Knowledge of payment processing systems or similar software is an advantage.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues independently.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications at an intermediate level.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Leads in resolving errors and provides training to other departments on issue resolution.
  • Develops and maintains Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Prepares and delivers timely project status reports to the operations management team.
  • Manages workflow across data entry, administrative, and cashiering departments, including scheduling, task delegation, and end-of-shift updates.
  • Ensures business goals, deadlines, and performance standards are met consistently.
  • Trains and onboards new hires on data entry software systems and cashiering procedures.
  • Provides ongoing training to existing employees as payment processing workflows evolve.
  • Supports administrative tasks such as pulling rejects, managing physical documents, and coordinating Shred-It pickups.
  • Oversees coin deposits, inventory, and cleaning processes per client specifications.
  • Assists with cash deposits to Loomis from loading dock and verify/sign-off processes.
  • Maintains client bank portal functionality and ensures accurate data management.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves machine or system issues; coordinate with Technicians as necessary.
  • Provides essential support and backup for other cashiers as needed.
  • Performs additional responsibilities as necessary to ensure team’s success.
