About The Position

TNStumpff Enterprises, LLC, a leader in Contract Delivery Service for the United States Postal Service with offices in 20 states, is seeking applicants for a part-time mail delivery position on a Contract Delivery Service (CDS) mail route in the Ticonderoga, NY area. This role involves delivering mail along an assigned route, sorting mail, loading the delivery vehicle, and handling parcels and accountable mail items. Applicants must meet specific age, driver's license, physical, and residency requirements, and must provide a suitable vehicle that meets postal regulations and insurance standards. Hired applicants are employees of TNStumpff Enterprises, LLC and will receive W-2s.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Valid New York driver's license
• Able to lift 70 lbs
• Able to work in all types of weather conditions
• Must reside in the Ticonderoga, NY area
• Must furnish a vehicle that meets postal regulations
• Must meet postal driving requirements
• Vehicle must provide 120 cubic feet of usable load space for mail and parcels
• Vehicle must have $100,000/$500,000/$100,000 or $600,000 (CSL) of liability insurance
• Applicant is responsible for all vehicle maintenance, fuel, and insurance costs

Responsibilities

• Sorting mail in delivery sequence for active boxes
• Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into delivery vehicle
• Delivering mail along an assigned line-of-travel
• Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items
• Other administrative duties as required
