About The Position

TNStumpff Enterprises, LLC, a leader in Contract Delivery Service for the United States Postal Service, is seeking applicants for a part-time mail carrier position on a CDS mail route in the Cushing, ME area. This role involves delivering mail and parcels along a designated route, requiring the use of a personal vehicle that meets postal regulations.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Valid Maine driver's license
• Able to lift 70 lbs.
• Able to work in all types of weather conditions
• Must reside in the Cushing, ME area
• Must furnish OWN vehicle that meets postal regulations
• Vehicle must provide 120 cubic feet of usable load space for mail and parcels (Mini-Van or Equivalent)
• Possess $100,000/$500,000/$100,000 or $600,000 (CSL) of liability insurance for the contract vehicle
• Applicant is responsible for all vehicle maintenance, fuel, and insurance costs
• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Must have a criminal background history that meets USPS standards

Responsibilities

• Sorting mail in delivery sequence for 445 active boxes
• Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into the delivery vehicle
• Delivering mail along an assigned 38.6 mile line-of-travel
• Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items
• Performing other administrative duties
