About The Position

This position is responsible for the final processing of magnets received from the manufacturing floor. This involves tasks such as cleaning, visual inspection, magnetizing, calibration/testing, and packaging.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Experience handling fragile materials.
Great communication skills
Able to work in a small team setting.
Strong work ethic.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a manufacturing setting.
Experience in lean manufacturing environment.
Experience operating within AS9100 or ISO systems.

Responsibilities

Setup and operate equipment per technical instructions.
Change machine fluids and clean machine and tanks per PM log.
Operate multiple machines at once.
Review Operation Sheet to assure all previous operations have been satisfactorily completed.
Sign off the operation sheet and note the quantity of good and bad pieces when the operation has been completed.
Maintain part and identification during processing.
Properly identify nonconforming material.
Verify completed operations match blue prints.
Maintains tooling to perform at maximum efficiency.
Report any wear and tear.
Maintain an immaculate work environment and machine work area.
Follow company written policy and documented procedures.
Other duties as assigned
