About The Position
As a Magnetic Resonance Tech, you’ll perform magnetic resonance imaging studies, ensuring accurate and high-quality results. You’ll prepare patients, set imaging parameters, and process images while assisting in protocol development. Your work directly supports healthcare providers in delivering precise diagnoses and treatment plans, making a meaningful impact on patient care. Requirements
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Healthcare Provider certification (BCLS).
- Must maintain required hours of continuing education.
- MRI board certification (ARRT) (MR) within 12 months of hire if a registered Radiographer (ARRT)(R), Sonographer (ARDMS), or Nuclear Medicine Tech (ARRT)(NM) or (NMTCB).
Nice To Haves
- Current certification with ARMRIT or ARRT (MRI).
- Two (2) years of experience in Radiography.
Responsibilities
- Perform magnetic resonance imaging studies, including patient preparation and positioning.
- Set imaging parameters and process images using specialized software.
- Assist in developing protocols for patient studies.
- Conduct quality control procedures on MRI equipment.
