Under the direction of the Radiologist, Director, and Manager performs diagnostic medical imaging by magnetic resonance including Cardiac MRI, Interoperative MRI or invasive procedures. This role involves performing magnetic resonance imaging examinations, including assessing situations, performing MR safety screenings, responding to workload changes, communicating technical information, producing quality images, and initiating venipuncture. The technologist also observes departmental policies, prepares documentation, uses hospital/radiology systems, handles bio-hazardous waste, and practices safety and infection control. They are expected to provide service excellence, incorporate quality assessment into daily work, and provide age-appropriate care. Specialized care for high-risk patients, effective communication, and participation in continuing education are also key aspects of the role. The position requires professionalism, maintaining an environment conducive to good customer relations, respecting patient privacy, improving the waiting experience, responding to requests and complaints, and demonstrating teamwork.
