Under the direction of the Radiologist, Director, and Manager performs diagnostic medical imaging by magnetic resonance including Cardiac MRI, Interoperative MRI or invasive procedures. This role involves performing magnetic resonance imaging examinations, ensuring MR safety screening for all individuals entering MR rooms, responding to workload changes, and conducting job duties according to departmental standards. The technologist will communicate technical information appropriately, produce quality images consistently, and serve as a resource to coworkers. Responsibilities also include assessing for vein/site selection, initiating venipuncture, documenting venipuncture site/contrast, demonstrating knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and MR landmarks, and relating to coworkers professionally to promote a culture of safety. Maintaining proficiency in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) is also essential.
