About The Position

Twelve Oaks is seeking a Made To Measure Specialist to join their team. This role involves cultivating client relationships, driving made-to-measure sales through personalized consultations, and managing appointments. The specialist will educate clients on fabric options and customization, and actively seek opportunities to increase traffic and appointments through local networking and partnerships. The goal is to achieve and exceed individual sales targets and contribute to team goals within the Nordstrom environment. The role also includes conducting accurate fittings and pinning sessions, managing customer appointments efficiently, and overseeing the fitting process with accountability for quality and efficiency. Collaboration with Nordstrom tailors and Indochino specialists is key, as is educating clients on the fitting process and setting clear expectations for alterations and delivery timelines. Maintaining a high level of attention to detail during fittings is crucial to uphold quality standards. The specialist will deliver an elevated shopping experience, handle client inquiries and concerns professionally, and provide in-the-moment support. Accurate documentation of measurements, preferences, and orders is essential, along with post-purchase follow-ups to ensure satisfaction and drive repeat business. Operational duties include maintaining the Indochino shop-in-shop space to high standards, assisting with inventory management, merchandising, and visual presentation. Ensuring the shop is prepared for daily operations and secured at the end of each day according to Nordstrom’s policies, and maintaining accurate records of sales, alterations, and client interactions are also part of the role. The specialist will act as a brand ambassador for Indochino, driving local marketing efforts, identifying new business growth opportunities, and collaborating with Nordstrom partners and Indochino management.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in luxury fashion sales, preferably within made-to-measure menswear.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and tailoring techniques.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a competitive luxury retail environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate styling advice and customization options effectively.
• Proficiency in iOS and MS Office applications; familiarity with Nordstrom POS systems is an asset.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the Nordstrom environment.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to driving sales and enhancing the customer experience.
