About The Position

HiFyve is hiring a CNC Machinist in the Aerospace Manufacturing industry in Simpsonville, SC! Salary: Up to $38/hour Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday–Saturday | 11:00 PM–7:30 AM Location: Simpsonville, SC

Requirements

• Proficiency in operating CNC mills, lathes, and 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining centers.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, work instructions, and other technical documentation.
• Experience with tool offsets, machine adjustments, and minor CNC program edits.
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments for first-piece and in-process inspections.
• Ability to perform machine setups with minimal supervision.
• Understanding of production and quality standards.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and 5S workplace organization.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining centers to produce precision components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, work instructions, and other technical documentation.
• Perform tool offsets, machine adjustments, and minor CNC program edits as needed.
• Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments.
• Perform machine setups with minimal supervision while maintaining production and quality standards.
• Complete and maintain required production documentation and quality records.
• Follow established safety procedures and support 5S workplace organization initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and quality-focused manufacturing environment.
