Your day‑to‑day work will be hands‑on—operating CNC lathes and machining centers, setting up tools and workpieces, monitoring equipment, and ensuring every part meets strict specifications. You’ll read and interpret blueprints, set‑up sheets, and routing documents, working with accuracy and consistency to produce high‑quality results. Many tasks will require strong focus, mechanical insight, and a commitment to safe, reliable operation—often including the use of cranes to move large or heavy components. Success in this position comes from a solid foundation in machining practices, a strong mechanical aptitude, and an ability to maintain precision throughout repetitive and detailed work.
