About The Position

In this role, you’ll work independently within a machining cell—setting up, adjusting, and operating a variety of precision machines—and you’ll play a key part in building high‑quality components that support our mission. This role involves independently operating advanced precision machining equipment—such as lathes, grinders, and milling machines—to ensure parts meet strict customer specifications. It requires interpreting technical drawings, sketches, and specifications while applying shop math to plan and execute accurate machining work from start to finish. Responsibilities include selecting proper tools and fixtures, determining machining sequences, performing finishing and hand‑tool operations, and verifying quality using precision measurement instruments. The position also demands monitoring machine systems for necessary adjustments, working across multiple information systems, and supporting smooth operations by collaborating with customers, support teams, and supervisors, as well as coordinating and managing materials throughout the machining process.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• 2–5 years of machinist experience in a manufacturing environment

Nice To Haves

• Completion of a machining apprenticeship or equivalent hands‑on training
• Experience with Esprit CAD/CAM or CREO Manufacturing software
• A Q‑Clearance (or ability to obtain one)
