About The Position

Requirements

  • Ability to measure, mark, and verify dimensions of finished parts using precision tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.)
  • Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for each job
  • Monitor machining operations to ensure parts meet specifications and quality standards
  • Adjust machine settings, tool offsets, and feeds/speeds to optimize production and accuracy
  • Keep equipment clean and in proper work order, clean work environment
  • Record production data, job progress, and inspection results
  • Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and inspectors to resolve machining or design issues
  • Ability to safely lift and move materials as required
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
  • Commitment to safety protocols and workplace cleanliness
  • Strong teammate skills with the ability to work independently when needed
  • Must demonstrate the ability to learn and apply new skills effectively
  • Must be adaptable to a constantly changing environment and perform well under deadlines
  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident) or a Foreign Person for whom a license is obtained

Nice To Haves

  • At least 5 years previous experience in aerospace manufacturing or related industries
  • Familiar with inspection processes and basic quality standards
  • Previous experience in a similar role
