Fuel Your Passion As a Machinist, you will be contributing to the manufacturing of high‑precision components used in rupture disc assemblies. You will be ensuring accuracy, safety, and quality while working with advanced machining tools, robotics, and inspection equipment. Your craftsmanship directly supports the reliability and performance of our products.

Requirements

  • Have a high school diploma or GED; a certificate in CIMM or related industrial technology is preferred.
  • Have 3+ years of experience in a job shop or high‑mix, low‑volume production environment.
  • Have demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
  • Have the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Have intermediate math and reading skills.
  • Have working knowledge of lathes, mills, and other machine shop equipment.
  • Have the ability to write and modify CNC programs.
  • Have basic computer skills.
  • Have willingness to follow all manufacturing procedures and company policies.
  • Have strong attention to detail.
  • Have a commitment to quality, accuracy, and safety.
  • Have the ability to stay focused and manage time effectively.
  • Have a positive attitude and the ability to work well with peers, supervisors, management, and external partners.
  • Have motor skills sufficient to safely operate tools and machinery.
  • Have the ability to stand or walk for most of an 8–10-hour shift.
  • Have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds using proper techniques.
  • Have the ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses and safety shoes.
  • Have the willingness to work overtime, alternate shifts, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Determining setup requirements by reviewing blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and instructions.
  • Measuring, marking, and scribing dimensions on materials to guide machining operations.
  • Machining bar stock to required dimensions with precision.
  • Interacting with co‑bots and robotic tools to enhance machining efficiency.
  • Verifying conformance of finished parts using precision measuring equipment such as CMM and optical comparators.
  • Performing preventative maintenance on machining equipment as needed.
  • Complying with productivity and quality standards to meet operational goals.
  • Operating a forklift when required to support material movement.
  • Performing additional duties based on workload and business needs.
