About The Position

Repair and manufacture P/M tooling and adaptation. Support the Maintenance, secondary, engineering and quality departments in the repair and manufacturing of components for repair in the plant. Assist in the fabrication of in-house projects with Engineering.

Requirements

• Experience in P/M machining and four (4) or more years in the machining field.
• Experience in running equipment (Lath, Mill, Surface Grinder, Cylindrical Grinder, CNC Mill Ram and Wire EDM )
• High School Diploma
• Good mathematical skills.
• Use of inspection instruments.
• Coordinate measuring machine experience.
• Blue print reading.
• Experience in P/M industry.
• Computer experience

Nice To Haves

• Vocational schooling in machining a plus
• Course: I Algebra, Trigonometry and Geometry desirable

Responsibilities

• Program complex forms in CAM
• Assist C’s and B’s in advancing their machining skills and abilities.
• Be able to do hard milling
• Operate all machines in Machine Shop.
• Exhibit quality work and safety practices
• Be a self-starter
