C&K employees are self-starters, detail-orientated and adaptable. We are currently hiring for the position of 2 Machinists. This position will be based out of Easton, PA. C&K Plastics is seeking an experienced CNC/Machinist. The ideal candidate will have programming experience, the ability to read part prints, use calipers, micrometers, gauges and other measuring devices. A basic understanding of Machining theory is required. Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with little supervision. A solid work ethic is required.

  • Confidence in the basics of working on conventional equipment: manual Lathe, Bridgeport milling machine, drill press and surface grinder
  • Experience setting up a CNC milling machine and preparing the tools needed to make a part
  • Ability to set up and run a wire EDM
  • Capable of using measuring instruments, for example: dial and digital calipers, micrometers, pin and block gauges
  • Know how to use hand tools (cordless drill and air grinder)
  • Excellent self-management and time-management skills
  • Know how to read technical drawings and prints
  • Ability to prioritize your work schedule
  • Willingness to learn new work-related procedures and skills
  • Must be able to walk, stand, and lift objects, up to 50lbs
