About The Position

GDIT is seeking a Machinist to join their team. This role involves operating and setting up vertical and/or horizontal 5-axis mills, interpreting technical manuals, procedures, blueprints, and diagrams, and performing basic layout functions. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of machining experience, and possess their own basic hand tools. A Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one is required, and candidates must be US citizens.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years of machining experience
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, procedures, blueprints, diagrams, and perform basic layout functions
• Possession of own basic hand tools
• Experience including setup, operating, with vertical and/or horizontal 5 axis mills
• Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain Secret security clearance
• Must be a US Citizen
