About The Position
This role operates Mazak CNC milling machine to produce precision components according to engineering specifications. The machinist sets up programs, runs Mazak equipment, maintains part quality through in-process inspection, and keeps production flowing through established workflow, safety standards, and accuracy. Produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required per DoD requirements
- Knowledge of mazatrol controls
- Ability to read and write G Code
- Hold tolerance of .0005 +/-
- Ability to set-up machines / tooling
- Ability to use measurements equipment i.e. Mics, Calipers, highstands, and indramic’s, etc.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with E2 is a plus.
