This role is part of our ET/UT product line. This position plays a key role in the manufacturing of high-quality products by supporting precision machining operations in a collaborative, safety-focused, and quality-driven production environment. Eddyfi Technologies is looking for a Machinist to manufacture high-quality machined parts from drawings while meeting required tolerances and specifications and optimizing production quality and efficiency. This role is essential to supporting our manufacturing operations through precision machining, equipment setup, inspection, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

High level of attention to detail.
Self-organized individual with a strong ability to take action and manage priorities effectively.
Able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Solid quality awareness and consistently adhere to high standards in all work performed.
Able to work effectively in a team and have good communication skills.
Strong awareness of workplace safety.
Understand assembly processes and are able to follow established processes and procedures.
Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.
1 to 3 years of experience in a Machinist role.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex machining tasks while maintaining a high level of productivity and accuracy.

Nice To Haves

Mastercam experience (considered a strong asset).

Responsibilities

Operate and set up CNC equipment, including HAAS Mill and HAAS Lathe, as well as manual lathes and mills, to manufacture precision parts from various materials in accordance with work orders, drawings, specifications, and required tolerances.
Select appropriate tooling, speeds, feeds, and machining sequences to ensure efficient cutting and finishing operations.
Inspect finished parts, correct defects when needed, and complete all required production and quality documentation.
Monitor, troubleshoot, clean, and maintain machines and tools in compliance with standard operating procedures and safety requirements.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to quality objectives by writing basic programs and modifying existing CNC programs as required.
