About The Position

We are seeking CNC Machinist to operate Swiss Lathe Screw Machines on 2nd shift whose mastered the process of micro machining for medical device components. Sign On Bonus - $2,500 payout after 90-days. Competitive Pay Rates based on years of experience. Shift schedules: 1st shift - 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 2nd shift - 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM with 10% shift diff, 3rd shift - 11:30 PM to 7:00 AM with 14% shift diff.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
2 years company related work experience and/or 2 - 4 years’ experience operating machinery in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Working knowledge of drawings and blueprints with ability to interpret information.
Ability to work with small precision parts.
Must have basic knowledge of visual and dimensional inspection techniques.

Nice To Haves

Technical or vocational schooling preferred.
medical device experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Operates machinery used in the manufacture of products under moderate supervision.
Applies proficiency within discipline, completes tasks and assignments and solves routine problems with some latitude for independent judgment.
May be involved in equipment set-up and/or calibration of more complex assignments.
Loads component materials into product specific tools and/or performs finishing operations.
Reads and follows operating manuals, maintenance instructions and procedures.
Inspects parts visually and dimensionally to assure conformance to requirements.
Follows established documentation for product manufacturing.
Cleans and maintains machinery as necessary.
Performs other functions as required.
