About The Position

Air Liquide Global E&C Solutions is seeking a Machinist to fabricate bundles to excellent standards and specifications. This role is part of the Manufacturing Group and operates on a 12-hour shift, collaborating closely with the Production Supervisor. Requirements

High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
3+ years Industrial Machining experience, preferably on CNC lathes.
High level of attention to detail.
Capability to prioritize time efficiently.
Ability to work independently.
Strong multi-tasking skills.
Good written skills, proficient computer skills, and ability to work with MS Office tools are required.
Continuous standing in one location for long periods (2-3 hours before break).
Ability to follow vocal instructions and interactions, signals, alarms and work environment sounds.

Responsibilities

Prepare, set up, and operate CNC machines for prototyping and production.
Perform manual milling and lathe operations to support project goals.
Understand and work with specifications, drawings, job orders (Oracle & File Maker), work instructions, recipes and procedures.
Take precise measurements for cutting or shaping.
Ensure quality through attentive quality checks and adjustments.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams.
Maintain inventory of completed products, ensuring WIP build up in area is managed properly.
Fabricate products to uphold excellent quality standards and support our customers' needs.
Complete preventive maintenance on a regular, timely basis.
Guide first-line troubleshooting such as equipment malfunctions, computer program issues, setting adjustments; involving appropriate other experts as needed.
Support and uphold the Company’s safety and environmental standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Help ensure the proper disposal of waste materials.
Contribute actively to safety improvement programs.
Support and uphold all Company policies including safety, operating procedures, quality, attendance and proper on the job conduct.
