About The Position

Air Liquide Global E&C Solutions is seeking a Machinist to fabricate bundles to excellent standards and specifications. This role is part of the Manufacturing Group and operates on a 12-hour shift, collaborating closely with the Production Supervisor. Requirements

  • High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
  • 3+ years Industrial Machining experience, preferably on CNC lathes.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Capability to prioritize time efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills.
  • Good written skills, proficient computer skills, and ability to work with MS Office tools are required.
  • Continuous standing in one location for long periods (2-3 hours before break).
  • Ability to follow vocal instructions and interactions, signals, alarms and work environment sounds.

  • Flexibility to work in shifts and handle occasional overtime as needed.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.
  • Reach and manipulate controls on equipment.
  • Perform work activities above ground level.
  • Perform work activities with production chemicals, adhesives and epoxies, using required personal protective equipment.
  • Operate forklift and other material moving equipment.
  • Perform job duties at all times of the day within plant operation.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, set up, and operate CNC machines for prototyping and production.
  • Perform manual milling and lathe operations to support project goals.
  • Understand and work with specifications, drawings, job orders (Oracle & File Maker), work instructions, recipes and procedures.
  • Take precise measurements for cutting or shaping.
  • Ensure quality through attentive quality checks and adjustments.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams.
  • Maintain inventory of completed products, ensuring WIP build up in area is managed properly.
  • Fabricate products to uphold excellent quality standards and support our customers' needs.
  • Complete preventive maintenance on a regular, timely basis.
  • Guide first-line troubleshooting such as equipment malfunctions, computer program issues, setting adjustments; involving appropriate other experts as needed.
  • Support and uphold the Company’s safety and environmental standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Help ensure the proper disposal of waste materials.
  • Contribute actively to safety improvement programs.
  • Support and uphold all Company policies including safety, operating procedures, quality, attendance and proper on the job conduct.
