About The Position

The Machinist will operate the Surface/Water Grinders and milling machines in the tool room. Details will be made to print following the schedule that is provided to them. Eaton Corporation is a leader in supplying connectivity solutions to its end users. It is a fast-growing company with many opportunities to succeed and grow. Pay rates depend on experience or prior skills, and the company is willing to invest to train motivated applicants. The manufacturing plant is air-conditioned in the summer and heated in the winter.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• No experience necessary, willing to train someone with mechanical aptitude/knowledge
• Basic math skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work well with a team
• Detail oriented and ability to prioritize

• Strong work ethic
• Work ownership
• Ability to comply with all safety protocols

Responsibilities

• Read and understand blueprints and piece prints
• Understand and use a variety of measuring equipment
• Perform setup and operate surface/water grinders and milling machines
