About The Position
Local manufacturing plant looking for an experienced Machinist/Welder. This is a full-time position with a schedule that varies. Pay is dependent on experience. Must be willing to work holidays.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience preferred
- Must be able to work with little to no supervision
- Must be able to endure physical exertion and hot environment
- Must be able to pass drug test upon hiring
Nice To Haves
- Certification(s) preferred
Responsibilities
- Aid in decision making and provide solutions relating to machining operations
- Responsible for the repair and fabrication work for various types of tools and equipment
- Work on CNC milling machine, lathe machine, grinder
- Read and properly interpret CAD diagrams for manufacture and assembly
- Perform aluminum and cast welding
- Must be able to train other employees for the task
- Maintain a clean workplace
