About The Position

Ventamatic is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machinist Tool & Die Maker to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, constructing, and maintaining a variety of tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures used in production processes. This role requires precision, a strong understanding of machinery, and the ability to work from blueprints and specifications to ensure high-quality and efficient manufacturing operations.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Machinist Tool & Die Maker or similar role.
Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
Strong understanding of machining tools and equipment, including lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

Relevant technical or vocational training is a plus.

Responsibilities

Analyze specifications, lay out metal stock, set up and operate machine tools, and fit and assemble parts to make and repair metal parts, tools, or machines.
Construct tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures according to engineering drawings and customer requirements.
Perform routine maintenance and repair of tools and dies to ensure optimal functionality and prevent production delays.
Inspect and test completed tools and dies to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize tool designs and manufacturing processes.
Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and ensure adherence to specifications.
Adhere to all safety instructions and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
