Manually sets up/adjusts machine tools. Recommends revisions in design and/or substitutions in material based on machinability or fabrication problems. This role requires specialized expertise in technical processes or procedures, completes assignments and facilitates the work activities of others; may coordinate work beyond own area. Works autonomously within established procedures and practices; proposing improvements to processes and methods as needed. May also be in charge of leading training for employees.
