About The Position

Pregis Graphic Innovators LLC. is seeking a Machinist Millwright to play a crucial role in their in-house industrial machinery manufacturing process. This position is responsible for building, installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment, ensuring that build timelines are met and manufacturing machines remain operational. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, the ability to communicate technical ideas clearly, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

  • Ability to produce shop sketches for build or repair tasks
  • Proficiency with rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments

Responsibilities

  • Build, modify, and maintain ongoing or new industrial equipment lines using machinist/millwright skills.
  • Fabricate new and repair parts using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
  • Determine necessary changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting new or used parts using measuring instruments.
  • Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions and locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices, listening for issues, and using precision measuring and testing instruments.
  • Remove defective parts by dismantling devices using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools.
  • Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
  • Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock, anticipating needs, and verifying receipt of orders.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Perform job reporting.
