Our client is a premier worldwide supplier to the aerospace and industrial gas turbine markets, holding quality accreditations for all major airframe and engine manufacturers across both civil and military applications. At the Ontario, CA facility, they specialize in the rough and finish machining of super alloys for the aerospace, commercial, defense, power, and petroleum industries. Complex components include nickel base, titanium, stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steels, with parts ranging in size from 2" OD to 120" OD. This position supports multiple shifts depending on business needs. The selected individual will train on the 1st shift for approximately 3 months, or until they can safely demonstrate the ability to perform the job with minimal intervention. Shift premiums will apply upon transitioning to permanent hire. 1st Shift: 4:15 AM - 12:45 PM (Monday - Friday) 2nd Shift: 12:15 PM - 8:45 PM (Monday - Friday) 3rd Shift: 8:15 PM - 4:45 AM (Sunday - Thursday) Note: Split shifts may also be utilized based on operational needs. The Level 3 Machinist operates multiple 2-5 axis CNC lathe machines simultaneously. This role requires comprehensive machine setup, including preparing and setting up fixtures and cutting tools, loading and adjusting CNC programs and offsets, performing inspections, and executing basic preventative machine maintenance (such as coolant/lube levels and area cleanliness).
