About The Position

As a Machinist Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision metal parts, instruments, and tools. You will work with close attention to detail to ensure that all components meet quality and specification standards. This role requires training on 1st shift for 3 months before transitioning to 2nd shift (2:00pm-10:30pm) Monday - Friday. In this role, you will impact the production process by ensuring precision in machining operations, which is crucial for maintaining the quality standards of our products.

Requirements

1+ years of experience in machining or a related field.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
Knowledge of machining tools and techniques, including milling, turning, and grinding.
Familiarity with quality control processes and inspection tools.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC and manual machines to produce parts according to specifications.
Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and safety.
