Machinist - Level 2 (2nd Shift M-Th) 4pm - 2am
About The Position
As a Machinist Level 2 at Honeywell, you will be responsible for operating and setting up machine tools to produce precision metal parts and instruments. You will work with blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure the highest quality and accuracy in machining operations. You will report directly to the Shop Supervisor and work out of the Greer, SC location on an On-site work schedule (2nd Shift M -Th/4pm – 2am). In this role, you will impact the efficiency and quality of manufacturing processes by producing components that meet customer requirements and contribute to the overall success of production goals.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate various machine tools such as lathes, mills, and grinders to produce precision parts.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements.
- Perform quality checks and measurements to ensure parts meet specifications and tolerances.
- Maintain and adjust machines to optimize performance and ensure safety compliance.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality standards.
