About The Position

This position is responsible for finishing threads on all rotors to the required size, index, form, and finish. The role also involves drilling axial holes, cutoff, and counterboring as needed, as well as grinding end faces on idlers. The machinist will produce a quality ground rotor in a safe and efficient manner with minimal direction. Responsibilities include inspecting sizes, index, form, lead, and finish of threads, deburring sharp edges, checking pump parts for burrs and fits, assembling per assembly drawing, and testing per specifications.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read and follow detailed instructions.
• Must be able to fill out forms as needed such as: daily labor report, log sheet, etc.
• Must be able to read blueprints.
• Use of advance trade mathematics, reading complicated drawings, specifications, charts, etc.

Nice To Haves

• Machining Trade School preferred.
• One to three years machining experience preferred.
