About The Position

This position requires the ability to perform all duties of a Machinist I, with a focus on non-standard setups and proficient operation of manual machinery. The role involves verifying part accuracy against blueprints, performing quality control measurements, and utilizing specific software for design and machining.

Requirements

  • Manual Machining: 3 years preferred.
  • Have own machinist tools.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written work instruction.
  • Ability to effectively understand and operate within safety guidelines and policies.

Nice To Haves

  • 2-year Technical Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all duties of a Machinist I.
  • Experienced with non-standard set-ups.
  • Proficient at operating a manual lathe including but not limited to single point threading and operating a manual mill.
  • Proficient at the fundamentals of cutting - speeds and feeds, blade selection, etc.
  • Verify accuracy of machined parts against blueprints or engineering drawings by measuring with inspection tooling and gauges.
  • Perform basic quality control measurements and inspections on machined parts.
  • Proficient at Solidworks software with the ability to manipulate 3D solid part files.
  • Proficient at Mastercam software.
  • Perform all other tasks assigned.
