Work location: Stafford, TX (on-site- contract role only for 6+ months) Scope: Machinist II is responsible for independently setting up, operating, and optimizing CNC machining processes to produce precision components. This role requires advanced knowledge of machining practices, strong G- and M-code proficiency, and the ability to lead process improvements and mentor junior machinists Job Summary: Perform complex setups on CNC mills/lathes, interpret advanced engineering drawings, optimize machining offsets or work coordinates, and ensure part quality through rigorous inspection. Machinists II are expected to lead troubleshooting efforts, support programming activities, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining safety and documentation standards.
