About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Entry-Level Machinist to join our Carbon Graphite manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in machining and manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be willing to learn, follow instructions, and work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous manufacturing or machining experience is a plus but not required
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to read basic measurements and follow instructions
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Operate basic machining equipment such as lathes, mills, grinders, and saws (training provided)
• Follow work instructions, blueprints, and job travelers to produce carbon graphite components
• Measure and inspect parts using basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Assist with machine setup and material handling
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Report any quality or production issues to supervisor
• Support production goals and deadlines
