About The Position

CNC Machinist produces machined parts to specifications using manual machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, drill presses and other general machine shop equipment to produce a variety of metal or plastic parts while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Requirements

• Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics
• Possess working knowledge of complex shop math including algebra,trigonometryand geometry
• Good communicationskills both verbal and written
• Excellent hand-eye coordination

Responsibilities

• Plan machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications,etc.
• Knowledge of working properties and machining processes for a wide variety of materials such as stainless steels, cast iron,ni-reist, carbon steels and aluminum
• Programing CNC mills and lathes
• Load raw materials into machine
• Sets-u mills and lathes
• Immediate knowledge of CNC machines and accessories
