POSITION SUMMARY: Machines parts according to specifications for assemblies.
Requirements
- Previous machine shop experience.
- Ability to make simple setup and operation of conventional and CNC machines.
- Mathematical skills (addition/subtraction, multiplication/division, geometry, trigonometry).
- Basic knowledge weights, measures and metric conversions.
- Basic verbal and written communication skills.
- Truck and forklift experience.
Responsibilities
- Reads and interprets blueprints and drawings.
- Operates machines in the production of precision parts, molds, dies, etc.
- Completes related paperwork.
- Maintains a safe working environment.
- Maintain clean shop.
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.
