We're looking for a talented Hot Stamp / Machinist to join our growing team! This role will ensure smooth production operations through the skilled use of equipment and adherence to workplace safety practices.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Minimum one year of experience working with machine shop equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Willingness to adapt to changing workloads and meet deadlines effectively.
Responsibilities
- Hot stamping injection-molded waste bins and custom packaging solutions.
- Manufacturing mounting plates for various hot stamp sizes.
- Assisting with mold version changes.
- Operating shop equipment such as milling machines, band saws, and drill presses.
- Safely utilizing a variety of powered and non-powered hand tools.
- Training and operating a forklift as needed.
- Managing an overhead crane in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Completing assigned work orders promptly, accurately, and with pride.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace.
- Identifying and reporting the need for spare or replacement parts to ensure smooth operations.
- Being available for overtime work when required.
- Maintaining consistent punctuality.
- Participating in ongoing training to enhance skills and expand technical expertise.
